NASA Missions Explored through the iPhone and iPod Touch

iPhone and iPod TouchUser iPhone and iPod Touch can now enjoy the facility to explore space through new applications that released the U.S. space agency, NASA. Applications are free to use and download at Apple's App Store shows archive photos, videos, and the latest information space missions of NASA.

"We are very pleased to be providing content that includes NASA and the many new things to the user though the iPhone and iPod Touch," said Gary Martin, director of the Ames Research Center, one of NASA's research center that developed the application. He said that this application provides an easy and interesting to the public to participate in space exploration program.

With the application, for example, users can track the position of the international space station (ISS) which was orbiting the Earth. In addition, users can also follow the countdown of the mission space shuttle launch.
