Flexi BTS Multiradio Use to Reduce Carbon Emissions

Taking advantage of Flexi BTS Multiradio from Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN), Singapore-based mobile operator MobileOne (M1) hopes to reduce carbon emissions telecommunications network to 35 percent in early 2011. Through its official description, NSN said it will increase the M1's 2G network to prepare a smooth transition to a network of Long Term Evolution (LTE). In cooperation with NSN, M1 will launch LTE trial in February 2010.
